Hi! I’m Patty Cuttell and I’m asking you to vote for me this October.

 

District 11 is at a critical crossroad. After years of focus on Halifax’s urban core, the Regional Plan review now offers us a chance to think deeply about what it means to live in District 11. What kind of place do we want it to be in the future? We know there is a lot of work to do. From protecting our wilderness areas and supporting our communities to defining the kind of development we want, and growing our local economy. This will be an important priority for our next councillor.

So why vote for me?

With my 20-year background in city and community planning, I know how municipal government works. How to consult and collaborate with people. And how to get things done! I have dedicated my career to working closely with communities to make them better places for everyone.

I have lived in this district for over two decades. It’s where I am raising my kids. It’s where I have planted my roots and built my community. I love this district because of its people, its family-friendly culture and local businesses, its maritime history, and the amazing access to nature. I’m proud to call Spryfield-Sambro Loop-Prospect Road my home and I want the very best for our future.

District 11 really needs a councillor who knows how to navigate the bureaucracy. Someone with a proven track record who will be a strong ear and voice for our communities. Along with my passion for this work and for this district, the experience and energy I bring to this role will make me an effective and trusted representative.
